Philippians, 4:6

Prayer For

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your Kingdom come.
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but
Deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom the Power and the Glory
For ever and ever.

"Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine prinileges, he took the humble position of a slave and was born a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on the cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honour and gave him the name above all other names.

Philippians 2:6-9

Dear Jesus, thank you that you were prepared to come and live in this world and to die for all of us so that we can come back to God. Help us to live our lives knowng that the tomb is empty and that you are alive again. May we serve you with all that we have until your resurrection glory shines throughout the world.

All this we ask in your name, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
