Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Prayer For March

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your Kingdom come.
Your Will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but
Deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom the Power and the Glory
For ever and ever.
Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; praise His name. Each day proclaim the Good News that He saves.

(Psalm 96;1-2)

Lord God, thank you that we have been able to celebrate Christmas once more. Help us not to put Jesus back in the box with the decorations but be ready to procliam the Good News that he saves wherever we go and to whoever we meet. Make us ready to face the challenge of the New Year, sure that you are with us in all we do.

Al this we ask in the name of Jesus.
